What a remarkable way to kick off the celebration of 141 years of God's faithfulness at St. Paul First Baptist Church!
On yesterday, we were blessed to see so many family members, friends, former members, and community partners gather with us for Family & Friends Day as we launched our 141st Church Anniversary Celebration. Your presence made the day special, and we are truly grateful for everyone who came to worship, fellowship, and celebrate with us.
As part of our worship experience, we explored Psalm 78 and reflected on the message, "A Faith Worth Passing Down." The psalmist reminds us that every generation has a responsibility to tell the next generation about the goodness, faithfulness, and mighty acts of God. We are not called to keep God's blessings to ourselves, but to share them so that those coming behind us will know where their hope comes from.
In a world where values and priorities are constantly changing, Psalm 78 challenges us to intentionally pass down a faith that endures. Not simply through words, but through lives that demonstrate trust in God. As Deuteronomy teaches, God's truth should be woven into our daily conversations, our homes, and our relationships so that future generations can experience His love and guidance firsthand.
Yesterday was a beautiful reminder that faith is not meant to stop with us. It is meant to flow through us. We celebrate the generations that came before us, those serving today, and those who will carry the torch tomorrow.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. As we continue our anniversary celebration, let us remain committed to building a legacy of faith in Jesus Christ that will stand the test of time.

Today at St. Paul, Pastor Morse launched our new sermon series, "Built to Last," with a powerful message entitled "What We're Built On" from Ephesians 2:19–22.

In a world where so much feels uncertain, Paul reminds us that God's people are not built on trends, traditions, or temporary things. We are built on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ, the Chief Cornerstone. As believers, we are no longer strangers or outsiders—we are members of God's household, being joined together and built into a dwelling place for His presence.

This message challenged us to consider an important question: What is your life built on? Because what we're built on determines whether we'll stand when life's storms come.

As a church celebrating God's faithfulness through generations, we are reminded that strong churches, strong families, and strong believers are built on Christ, united in purpose, and connected to one another.

If you missed today's message, we invite you to join us next Sunday as we continue our "Built to Last" series and discover how God is building us for His glory.

This past Sunday, Pastor Morse preached a message entitled, "A Spirit Led Life," as we explored how embracing the Holy Spirit guides us in our daily choices and strengthens our identity in Christ. Romans 8 reminds us that we are not just receivers of grace, but heirs of a loving family—the family of God. When we allow the Spirit to lead, we experience freedom and transformation in our lives. By surrendering ourselves to His guidance, we cultivate a deeper connection with God and find joy in our journey of faith together. Join us as we walk in the Spirit and discover what it means to truly live as God’s beloved children. Let’s embrace our identity and purpose
