Thank you to everyone who joined us for this important and eye-opening evening as we learned how to recognize human trafficking in North Carolina and how to better protect ourselves and our families online.

We were grateful to welcome Parker Barnes, Anti-Trafficking Supervisor at One More Child, for sharing her experience and insight. Her trauma-informed, survivor-centered work continues to bring awareness, advocacy, and hope across North Carolina and beyond. Also, a huge thank to Emily Hale of A.S.H.E for joining us to provide more information and answer questions!

Based in North Carolina, Parker brings over six years of experience supporting survivors across Florida, Georgia, and NC. Her work is trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and deeply rooted in justice, advocacy, and lasting change. A representative from A Safe Home for Everyone will also join us to answer additional questions and information.
