We’ve started a rather large repair project…masonry work, tombstones, fencing, trees, drainage!

Our first masonry project is underway!! This early 1900s block wall surrounds this entire plot. One side had partially fell before we could get started on the repairs.

Don Cooper is a master brick/block mason! He has done an amazing job at this site. Stay tuned for photos of the final project!

Welcome to the Historic Woodbine Cemetery page! We will be loading lots of information, pictures and stories about the cemetery as we develop the page. When the weather cools off (if ever!), we will be planning a work day in the cemetery...everyone is invited to come! In 2015 the Woodbine Cemetery Association undertook the restoration of the Dr. David Long monument. David Long was a cousin to Dr. Crawford Long and took over his practice when Crawford Long moved his family to Atlanta.
