Get ready for an incredible day of vehicles, family fun, great food, and community—all while helping send the Hope City Church Youth Missions Team to Virginia for their Impact Appalachia mission trip!

This team will have the opportunity to serve more than 800 families in one of America’s most underserved regions, and every registration, raffle ticket, and donation helps make that mission possible.

Hope City, we’re still looking for volunteers to serve with the Miracle Baseball League this fall!

We know committing to five weeks is a big ask. But we also know that consistently showing up, cheering loudly, encouraging an athlete, and building relationships can make a HUGE impact.

🇸🇻💚 SEND 6 TO SERVE IN EL SALVADOR!

This October, six members of the Hope City Church Missions Team will travel to El Salvador to serve alongside Hope and Horizons, helping build homes for families who have been displaced.

🏠 Building homes. Restoring hope. Sharing Christ.

These six aren’t just going on a trip. They’re stepping out in faith, carrying a willingness to work, serve, encourage, and be the hands and feet of Jesus to families who need hope.

But they can’t do it alone.

We’re asking our Hope City family and friends to consider partnering with them through financial support. Every gift helps make it possible for our team to travel, serve, and be part of what God is doing through Hope & Horizons.

⚾💚 WE’RE LOOKING FOR A FEW GREAT TEAMMATES!

This fall, Hope City Missions has the incredible opportunity to serve alongside the Miracle Baseball League — and we’re looking for volunteers who are ready to show up, cheer loudly, build relationships, and make game night special for every athlete!

The Miracle Baseball League gives athletes of all abilities the opportunity to experience the joy, teamwork, excitement, and FUN of baseball. For us, this isn’t about volunteering once and checking a box. We want to show up consistently and build relationships throughout the entire season.

📅 Tuesdays | September 15–October 13
⏳ 5-week commitment
⚾ 2 Teams: Cobras 🟡 & Hawks 🔴
👟 27 athletes
🕕 Games begin around 6:00 PM
🏁 Games should wrap up around 7:00 PM
Game times are approximate and may vary.

🙌 WE NEED 10–15+ VOLUNTEERS | AGES 14+

We’re looking for people willing to serve the majority of the 5-week season. Consistency allows us to build familiarity, trust, encouragement, and genuine relationships with these athletes.

🎙️ GAME ANNOUNCER NEEDED!

Do you have a fun personality and enjoy getting people excited? You could be our announcer! A speaker and microphone will be provided. No professional experience necessary — just bring your enthusiasm and your best game-night voice! 📣

🍿 SNACKS + ENCOURAGEMENT

We’ll also provide drinks and snacks for the athletes after each game.

And families, we want YOU in the stands! Bring your kids, make team signs, pick your team, and CHEER LOUD! 📣⚾

We’ll be tackling yard work and outdoor property cleanup — getting a little dirty while showing a family some love and being the hands and feet of Jesus!

🍲 LIGHT the Way — Food Preparation & Delivery
We’ll also be preparing and delivering meals to individuals in our community who are experiencing homelessness or are shut in at home.

Whether you’re better with a rake or a spatula, there’s a place for you! 😂🙌

🌎💙 Meet the Team: Stacy 💙🌎

For Stacy, missions isn't just something she does—it's the way she chooses to live.

As the Missions Director at Hope City Church, Stacy has the privilege of encouraging others to step out in faith and serve. This October, she'll be doing exactly that as she joins the City Church & Hope and Horizons Missions Team on a journey to El Salvador (October 17–24, 2026) to help build homes and share the hope of Christ with families in need.

Stacy is a wife to the love of her life, a proud mom of two, and grandma to three grandchildren who keep life full of joy. Alongside her husband, she owns and operates a local used car dealership, balancing business, ministry, family, and community with a heart that continually points back to God.

When she's not serving, you'll usually find her outdoors, chasing the next adventure. Whether it's kayaking, hiking, camping, exploring somewhere new, or spending every possible moment on the water, she finds joy in God's creation. If given the choice, she'd happily live on the water year-round!

But her greatest passion is seeing lives transformed through the love of Jesus. Whether serving neighbors in her hometown, families across the globe, or those gathered around her own table, Stacy believes every opportunity to serve is an opportunity to glorify God.

As she prepares for this mission, she would be honored to have you partner with her.

🌿🛠️ Volunteers Needed – CITY L.I.G.H.T. Maintenance Crew! 🛠️🌿

Want to make a visible difference in someone's life?

Join us on Saturday, August 22 at 9:00 AM as we serve a local family through outdoor property cleanup. We're looking for 10 volunteers to help with yard work and general outdoor maintenance as we put our faith into action.

This is a hands-on, outdoor service opportunity, so come ready to work! If you have them, please bring yard tools such as:

🌎💙 Meet the Team: Zac 💙🌎

Some people are wired to protect. Whether it's family, friends, or someone they've never met, Zac has a heart that naturally steps in when others need someone in their corner.

This October, Zac will be taking that servant's heart to El Salvador as part of the Hope City Church & Hope and Horizons Missions Team. From October 17–24, 2026, he'll join the team in building safe, secure homes for families who need more than four walls—they need hope for the future.

Working full-time in construction, Zac is no stranger to hard work or getting his hands dirty. But what truly defines him isn't what he builds—it's how he serves. He's passionate about helping others, fiercely loyal to those he loves, and always willing to stand up for people who can't stand up for themselves. When he's not working, you'll likely find him spending time with family and friends, casting a fishing line, exploring somewhere new, or showing a little extra love to every animal he meets.

As Zac prepares for this mission, would you consider partnering with him?

💛 Thank You for Being the LIGHT! 💛

What an incredible day of serving!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and compassion during our LIGHT the Way outreach on Saturday, July 25. Because of your willingness to serve, meals were prepared, delivered, and shared with our neighbors experiencing homelessness and those who are homebound.

More importantly, you shared smiles, conversations, encouragement, prayers, and the love of Jesus. Your kindness reminded each person we met that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

We are so grateful for our partnership with Missouri Cares Mobile Soup Kitchen and for each person who answered God's call to be His hands and feet in our community.

The mission continues!
