What a blessing it was to worship and preach at FBC Otterville. May the Lord continue to use this congregation to reach their community, our state, our nation, and the ends of the earth. I am so thankful for Pastor Russ Slocum’s ministry and his faithful commitment to the Lord.

Promoting Cooperation is one of the Missouri Baptist Convention’s core values. Today, our Church Renewal and Mission Mobilization strategies work together to build relationships with pastors, demonstrating care for them and identifying ways to strengthen and support their churches.

What a great time of worshiping King Jesus and sharing about our Mission Mobilization Group this morning with Casa de Oración in Springfield! Pastor Hazael Rodriguez is faithfully leading this church with a strong heart for missions. Casa de Oración is actively engaged in international missions in Ecuador and Mexico, while also investing in local missions through a Spanish church planting movement in three strategic communities: Noel, Bolivar, and Carthage. The church is intentionally mobilizing its members for evangelism, discipleship, and fellowship across these mission fields. Through a partnership with Send Network Español, they are equipping and preparing believers for the work of ministry through their residency program, raising up future leaders and church planters. Please join me in praying for Pastor Hazael, the elders, and the entire congregation as they continue to develop leaders and mobilize believers for the Great Commission. If your church is looking for opportunities to serve in a cross-cultural setting right here in Missouri, consider partnering with Pastor Hazael and the leadership of Casa de Oración as they faithfully reach the Hispanic community with the gospel throughout Southwest Missouri.
