💔 The Impossible Forgiveness
How is it possible that Jesus forgave
those who spat on Him, beat Him, nailed Him to a cross?
How do you forgive while the pain is still happening?

🩸 “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” — Luke 23:34
Jesus did not forgive because the offense was small.
The injustice was total.
The evil was real.
The damage was done.
Jesus forgave because He was full of love—and not just any love.

❤️ “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
Jesus was able to forgive the unforgivable
because Jesus is God,
and God is love—eternal, perfect, complete love.
He is the source of inexhaustible love.

🔥 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23
There was no way for us to draw near to God.
There was no way to erase the debt.
There was no way to repair the offense.
And yet… God forgave us everything.

✝️ “He who is forgiven little, loves little; but he who is forgiven much, loves much.” — Luke 7:47
Perhaps it’s not that forgiving is hard for us…
perhaps we have not yet understood how much God has forgiven us.
Because when that truth becomes certainty, when the heart understands
the depth and immensity of the forgiveness received, then:

🌱 “Love covers a multitude of sins.” — 1 Peter 4:8
✨ “Behold, all things have become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Forgiveness stops being a burden.
It stops being an effort.
It stops being impossible.

📖 “Forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.” — Ephesians 4:32
We do not forgive so that God will love us.
We forgive each other because we have already been loved.
And by living in that love, God gives us the power to forgive even the impossible.
Jesus (God) freely forgives past, present, and future sins for everyone who confesses that Jesus is God.
