5:30- Holy Week Walkthrough
6:30- Service Begins
Join us this evening for a service of shadows and light as we reflect on the events of Holy Week and the darkness of Good Friday. This is not like any other gathering of Providence Church. It is intended to be a solemn, weighty, and reflective time built around the events of that Friday. We take time to remember the events of Good Friday, not because we relish the agony of the cross, but because we want to feel the weight of the darkness. For when we feel that weight, the celebration in the light of Sunday morning is even more spectacular.
Come before the service begins to spend time reflecting on the events leading up to that day. A full holy week walkthrough has been carefully prepared for you to spend time preparing your heart and mind and considering the words and actions of Jesus. The walkthrough will open at 5:30 and the service will begin promptly at 6:30.
