Get to know the Director, Pamela Martin,of First Steps Childcare Center.

Pamela Martin has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Lincoln University-MO. She has over 30 years of experience working with children. Pamela loves children and desires to see children of all races, ethnicities, and socioeconomic statuses become successful.

Pamela is married to Pastor Joe Martin, and they have nine beautiful and successful children of their own and three beautiful grandchildren. Pamela received certification for childcare 1 and 2 while working in daycare centers in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pamela has worked in ministry, teaching children from toddlers through teenagers.She has gained valuable experience over the years working with mothers of all ages, teaching principles of motherhood and self-care. Pamela has worked alongside her husband, Pastor Joe Martin, in Jefferson City and surrounding areas for over 20 years, helping to build stronger families, supporting at-risk youth, providing summer youth activities, and supporting single parents.
