Walking by sight means allowing circumstances to define our future. Walking by faith means allowing God’s promises to define our perspective. What a great reminder this Sunday that even people of great faith can become exhausted, afraid, and discouraged. God still has purpose for your life, and He still wants to use you!

💛 Volunteers Needed for LIGHT the Way – Saturday, July 25! 💛

Join LIGHT the Way, a Hope City Missions Ministry in partnership with Missouri Cares Mobile Soup Kitchen, as we serve our community with the love of Christ.

📅 Saturday, July 25
🍽️ Food Preparation & Kitchen Team: 9:30 AM–12:30 PM
🚗 Meal Delivery Teams: 11:30 AM–3:30 PM

We'll prepare, serve, and deliver meals while building relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness and homebound neighbors. More than a meal, we'll be sharing hope, encouragement, and the love of Jesus.

No experience is necessary—just a willing heart to serve! Individuals, families, and small groups are all welcome.

Come help us be the hands and feet of Jesus as we make a difference—one meal, one visit, one neighbor at a time.

📚🎒 Calling All Businesses, Organizations & Churches! 🎒📚

It takes a community to help our children succeed, and YOU can make a difference!

T he Capital Mall is inviting local businesses, nonprofits, churches, civic groups, and community organizations to partner with us for the 2026 Capital Mall Back-to-School Event & School Supply Giveaway on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 12:00 PM–2:00 PM (or until supplies last) at Capital Mall in Jefferson City.

Together, we'll help hundreds of local students head back to school with the supplies they need and the confidence they deserve.

💙 Ways You Can Get Involved:
📌 Become an Event Partner – Host a booth, connect with local families, share your organization, and provide a fun activity or approved giveaway.
✏️ Donate School Supplies – Help fill backpacks with essential classroom supplies.
🤝 Volunteer for Setup – Join us Friday, August 7, at 7:30 PM to help prepare for the event.
🎉 Volunteer During the Event – Assist with registration, backpack distribution, activities, and more.
💵 Provide Financial Support – Every dollar helps purchase school supplies for students in need.

This event takes place during Missouri's Tax-Free Weekend, making it the perfect opportunity for families to enjoy a day filled with community resources, fun activities, and back-to-school support.

Businesses and organizations that commit early may be recognized in event promotions, social media, and marketing materials.

Let's show what happens when our community comes together! Together, we can help every child start the school year prepared, encouraged, and ready to learn.
