"Therefore, the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel (God with us)." Isaiah 7:14
"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, 'Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.'" Revelation 21:3
At His first coming, Immanuel came to "save His people from their sins." At His second coming, Immanuel will come to "rule with a rod of iron." What He accomplished at His first coming made it possible for men to dwell with Him for all eternity. It is then that His people will know the fulness of Immanuel - God with us!
