Jeannette Catholic Community The faithful of Ascension and Sacred Heart Catholic Churches share a vibrant history and seek to carry on the rich traditions of our faith.

Our continuing mission is to share our blessings with the surrounding communities by reaching out to those who have not heard the loving message of Jesus Christ. We invite all people who want to walk in the footsteps of Jesus, to join us in loving God through praise and worship and in loving our neighbor through hospitality and service.

Celebrating Our Feast Day
The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

On Friday, we gather as a faith community to celebrate our beautiful parish feast day! The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus is not just a date on the liturgical calendar; it is the very heart of who we are, what we believe, and how we love here at Sacred Heart Parish.
The image of the Sacred Heart reminds us of the profound, unconditional, and burning love that Christ has for every one of us. It is a heart that was pierced for our offenses, yet flows endlessly with mercy, grace, and hope. When Jesus revealed His Sacred Heart to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, He showed us a love that is active, deeply personal, and completely transformative.
Please join us as we worship Jesus Christ in His Sacred Heart and in the Holy Eucharist with Mass at 9 am followed by a reception in St Benedict Hall.
As a parish dedicated to this divine mystery, our feast day is the perfect opportunity to come to Eucharistic Adoration. Adoration is from 10 am to 3 pm. The Sacred Heart of Jesus longs for you.
If you cannot be with us in person, take a few moments this Friday to offer a prayer of consecration, thanking Jesus for His infinite mercy and asking Him to make our hearts more like His.
Let us celebrate the blessings of our past, the vibrant life of our present, and the bright future.
