CATHOLIC RURAL LIFE MARYMAS FESTIVE PICNIC, SAT. AUG. 14TH 6:00 - 8:00 PM, ST. ROSE PARISH CAMP

The Church, like a wise mother, hosts feast and festivals to communicate the joy of living the Christian life. This year the Solemnity of the Assumption coincides with the weekend Mass schedule. Following the 4:00 PM Mass at St. Rose on August 14th, there will be a festive picnic with a variety of local meats and vegetable sides. Families are asked to bring their own picnic blanket and chairs as needed as well their own salads and desserts for their families. The parish will offer three meats and two sides prepared by Daja Gombojav. Welcome to Steve Muise and members of Cascade who will add to the festivity with a blend of Celtic, Québecois and old-timey tunes. Participation is limited and tickets are available through Aug. 5th on WeShare or by contacting the office at 897-2173. Please RSVP by Aug. 5th. Individual tickets are $10, and family tickets are $25. Please indicate in the comment line of WeShare how many in your family will be attending. https://strose.weshareonline.org/

May 15: Saint Isidore the Farmer

Lord God, all creation is yours, and you call us to serve you by caring for the gifts that surround us. May the example of Saint Isidore urge us to share our food with the hungry and to work for the salvation of mankind. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen

Careful planning is underway to ensure that this year's CRL Farm to Table Supper will adhere to the CDC pandemic guidance and executive order in place from the governor's office. All servers will employ proper hand hygiene and will wear masks. Tables will be at least six feet apart, and there will be one server per two tables. There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the venue. Guests will be limited to 75 persons in accordance with gathering limits with some outdoor seating (under a large tent) and some indoor seating (in a well ventilated new-barn venue). Plating precautions will be taken to avoid shared serving utensils. All guests are asked to wear masks except when seated at their table. We thank you for your cooperation.
