Praise God in the midst of all your difficulties because it is a choice.
It is not based on feelings. Feelings are often used by our enemy to mislead and confuse. When circumstances are difficult, even seem to be overwhelming, we can choose to focus on who God is. He is faithful. He is unchanging. He is near to the brokenhearted. When we praise God it redirects our focus from our struggles to His character, His faithfulness and His promises. This enriches our mind, soul & spirit with His peace, comfort and joy.
Note: Praise in the midst of the physical challenges of this fallen world will supercharge our growth in Faith and becomes a lifeline to our Anchor in every storm (Jesus Christ).
David often expressed his pain to God but consistently ended his prayers with thanksgiving and praise, demonstrating that praise is possible even in the midst of adversity.
Meditate on simple truths such as "You, oh LORD, are my God", declare His faithfulness.
"You are my Rock & my Salvation, whom or what shall i fear". When we praise Him, we confess our dependence on Him and admit that He is in control, this brings peace, hope and strength. Scripture tells us we can rejoice in the Lord even when life is difficult, we trust that He will make us walk on high places. Here is the power of praise; it invites God into our situation and brings a sense of liberty and peace when our circumstances are still the same. Praising God in the midst of hard times is an act of faith, declaring that He is worthy regardless of our circumstances.
It is all about our focus in a fallen, temporary world that has already been overcome by our Savior who holds us safely in His hands.
Praise the Lord with every ounce of your being even when it is difficult, from our earthly prospective. Take God's perspective.
Agree with God; our problems, many and difficult they may seem, are temporary! This world is not my home.
Hallelujah!
