Happy New year One and All! I hope your holiday season was restful and filled with joy. As I roll into this annual 21 day fast with my church, I encourage you to do the same. Pray fervently, Give generously, and fast with a hunger to know God and His will for your life.

Happy Thanksgiving!

My name is Stuart Anthony. I am an artist of sorts. Jack-of-all-trades — master of none. Most of my life I've been on the stage. Musician partly. Singer mostly. I come from a family of very talented people. So I was no standout in that world. Just one in a crowd of five — seven if you count mom and dad.

After a very long and mildly irreverent period of rebellion — nothing so dramatic as some would suppose, but worse than others who know me might recall better than I do, I grudgingly decided to come back to God.

I remember the story of Jacob wrestling with God. And considering that he was actually wrestling GOD, the fact that he did so all night is a testament to his tenacity. Or a window into his intellectual shortcomings.

Your pick.

I'd like to think that people would find my musings over Scripture to reflect some deep intellectual gift. But I know better. The truth is that I pick these fights with God because — to paraphrase C.S. Lewis in his book 'Mere Christianity,' mine is but a drop in the ocean of Gods knowledge.

And I'm sharing it with you anyway. I hope you enjoy.
