Zion Rest Primitive Baptist Church Pastor: Charles H. Kitchens
Associate Pastor: Derrick Kitchens God's inspired word, the holy scriptures, guide everything we do.

Jesus Christ stated that he came into the world to "bear witness unto the truth" and that He was "the way, the truth, and the life". We follow the pattern laid out in the Bible which provides simplicity (singing, prayer, and preaching) and inclusivity (family-integrated). We are all sinners who simply try to show grace to others in the same manner God has shown grace to us. We aim to relate Christ's teachings to daily life, expressing Christ's love to all we meet. We meet every Sunday at 10:30 am for worship. Our worship service consists of singing hymns, prayer, and preaching. In addition, we meet on Wednesday night at 6:30 pm for prayer and Bible Study.

Good morning! We’re diving into Prayer as it is presented in scripture today. Commonly, people think it is simply about telling God what you want. That lacks humility and reverence. The Bible presents numerous Saints praying, and it is not so much about wants as it is needs.

Good morning! We are detouring this week to discuss one of the most profound actions we can preform - forgiveness. This origin of this phenomenon in Christian life is tied directly to the character, nature, and action of our God.

Please tune in or join us as we discuss this profound topic.

Good morning! Last week we continued discussing how the writers of scripture provide encouragement and ways to overcome discouragement by beginning to look at how St. Paul addresses St. Timothy in his two letters. Today, we will continue that discussion.
