River of Living Water United Methodist Church

River of Living Water United Methodist Church Church began January 2014. A United Methodist congregation reaching out to all people with the gospel of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Our church was formed in January 2014 when three United Methodist congregations merged to form one unified church. We are a diverse congregation made up of multiple races, backgrounds, and ages. We welcome everyone and are always looking to expand our family. We seek to reach out to all people with the gospel of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. ROLW is committed to serving those i

n need through outreach and mission, giving generously, gathering every Sunday through diverse forms of worship, and participating in studies to grow in our faith and discipleship. We are in located in Jasper, Frisco and Oakman but currently worship at our Jasper campus. We have Sunday school at 10am and worship at 11am, including options for both adults and young people. We also host AA meetings at our Jasper campus.

This Sunday at 5pm we are having a church wide painting day! We will be celebrating our church family by painting canvases together of three streaks of water running into one river, symbolizing our three campuses that came together to form River of Living Water. In addition to these canvases you can keep in your home, we will be creating a sidewalk chalk mural in our parking lot together 🤗

The cost of the event is $10 per person to cover materials. If you want to attend, RSVP with Pastor Delaney by emailing her at [email protected] and bring your money on Sunday.

Can’t wait to see you!

“The moon and stars they wept
The morning sun was dead
The savior of the world was fallen
His body on the cross
His blood poured out for us
The weight of every curse upon him”

John 19:28-30
After this, when Jesus knew that all was now finished, he said (in order to fulfill the scripture), “I am thirsty.” A jar full of sour wine was standing there. So they put a sponge full of the wine on a branch of hyssop and held it to his mouth. When Jesus had received the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Wishing you a not so happy Good Friday as you sit in the darkness of Jesus’ death. We will have stations of the cross and Holy Communion at the church from 6-7:30 this evening.

You are invited to come walk the stations of the cross and receive Holy Communion tomorrow evening at any time between 6 and 7:30pm.

The stations of the cross are 14 stations, each representing a different stage in Jesus’ journey to his death. This includes things like Jesus being condemned to death, Jesus falling as he walks, Jesus meeting his mother along the journey, Jesus being stripped of his garments, Jesus being nailed to the cross, Jesus dying, etc. At each station, you will be invited to participate in some sort of reflection or activity that helps you connect with this stage of Jesus’ journey.

We look forward to seeing you at this reflective come and go service.
