"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. Everyone should look not to his own interests, but rather to the interests of others." —Philippians 2:3-4
As a teenager, there is always one more thing to chase. Grades, Relationships, Friendships, appearances, even your future. The problem is that as soon as one goal is reached, another is already looming.
When our identity comes from chasing things in this world, what we are chasing always happens for the wrong reasons, and earthly prizes never bring true fulfillment. But when faith is placed in Jesus, a new identity is given as God's child, one already loved for who they are, not for what they've done.
There's no need to keep chasing. Rest instead in the everlasting love of Christ. ❤️
