As most have heard, tragedy struck our church building this past Sunday morning. Firstly, we are trusting and looking to God during this process and leaning into His grace, as it is is always sufficient. We would like to thank the firefighters of Jasper Station 2 for their immediate response, bravery and kindness. We would also like to thank the Jasper Police, EMS, and all other first responders for the immediate care, attention to detail and overall high-quality response during a difficult situation. As we draw closer to the election and are continuing to be prayerful it’s imperative that we, as Believers, continue to intercede for the spiritual state of our nation. I want to encourage all of us to call out to God, not only for a particular party or person(s), but that we as a nation would fully return to Him. It’s simple: Unless the Lord builds the house, all labor is in vain and simpler yet, blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
