Hi there since Sipsey COG had closed its doors, and I after all created this page when Jeff and I pastored Sipsey, i thought I would change the name of it and use it for ministry . I hope those of you who previously liked the page will continue to follow it. I will be sharing words of encoragement , inspiration , and The Word Of God. Also let me add that Jeff is now the pastor of Friendship Independant COG , located on the Blackwell Dairy rd . If you do not have a home church, I would like to invite u to visit. It is with heaviness of heart that I am posting this. Sipsey Church of God , for now has closed its doors. Jeff is now pastoring Friendship Independent COG , it is located on the rd behind the hospital in Jasper. The attendance at Sipsey got so low that unfortunately we were unable to keep the doors open . If you need to get in touch with Jeff, his number is 205- 275-4318.

Just to let everyone know, we will be starting a revival next Sunday, August the 8th. Service starts at 10 am and 5pm on Sunday night. And during the week it will start at 7pm. It will last til God says otherwise. Guest speakers will be Bro. Richard Hackney and Chuck Twilley. Everyone is invited.

Just to remind everyone, there will be no Celebrate Recovery services this week or next week because of the holidays. We will resume services, Friday, Jan. 8, 2021. I want to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I love you all. God bless.

Friday Nov 20th, 6pm, we will be hosting our annual Thanksgiving dinner at Sipsey Church of God. Times are hard for many and we want to give back to the community. All are welcome. It's completely free of charge. We will have the full Thanksgiving dinner menu. Come out and enjoy a night of food and fellowship. God bless.

We will also have a free clothes closet open for those who may be in need.
