VBS REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!!!!

EXCITING NEWS!! Join us for a week of fun, fellowship and faith development at this years VBS! We welcome pre-k 4s (fully potty-trained)- rising 6th graders for 4 days of VBS fun, June 10th-13th from 9am-noon as we dive deep into friendship with God. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity for your child to grow spiritually and have a blast!! We hop to see you there!!

FBCJ kids and youth meet in the chapel tomorrow morning at 10:45 to wave palms. We can’t wait to see you there!

This Sunday we commemorate Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, when crowds welcomed him with joy, waving palm branches as a symbol of victory and peace.

During our 11:00am worship time, our choir and orchestra will lead us in a “Journey to the Cross.” We will celebrate events of Christs life, including children waving palms.

Come and be a part of this meaningful observance as we prepare our hearts for the Easter season. All are welcome to join us for this memorable occasion.

We look forward to celebrating with you on this Palm Sunday!

Save the date! June 10-13, First Baptist Church of Jasper, Ga kids will be taking a deep dive into an amazing underwater world to experience the ever flowing, never ending love of God. We invite everyone starting at ages 4-5th grade to join us in an amazing scuba adventure!

Last week we hosted our annual Share the Love event. Our children, youth, and seniors came together to make Valentines cards to be given out in our community. It’s a beautiful thing to see all generations fellowship, and simply enjoy each others company.

Last night our youth and children’s ministries headed over to one of the senior care centers in Jasper, The Retreat, to sing Christmas carols for some of the residents. It was so wonderful to see their faces light up as they enjoyed some Christmas carols.

Last Wednesday Mrs. Erin, our WOW kids, and a gracious group of volunteers came together and packed box after box for Operation Christmas Child. I don’t want to spoil the surprise for the final count, but I can say they packed 33 boxes last year and they far exceeded that count! They laid hands on these boxes, and prayed over each and every one. We invite all the children to come out this Sunday and present these boxes to the church. Your child did not have to attend Wednesdays packing party to be able to present the boxes. All are welcome! If you would like for your child to participate, please meet in the foyer by 10:50. The final count will be announced Sunday once all boxes have been presented, so stay tuned. We cannot wait to see everyone there.

We love celebrating birthdays at WOW kids and we had some catching up to do from summer break. Happy Birthday to our June-August friends! Harper, Henley, Maggy, Ryan, Chance, Mac, Kensley and Tanner!
