WANTED: MUSIC DIRECTOR for
Small but powerful Methodist church in the heart of Jarrettsville
William Watters Memorial United Methodist church- home od the 2nd annual “music and arts” camp and over 20 years of the Cooptown car show is on the hunt for music director. This faithful congregation is small but mighty with a flourishing bell choir and a dedicated vocal choir as well as adult and children’s Sunday school classes.
This position includes playing for Sunday services and some other specialty services as well as direction of our adult vocal chWilliam Watters United Methodist Churchtice per week.

Hello folks… This may be a long post but I hope you’ll take the time to read it.

By all accounts the New Real Mans Yard Sale was a screaming white hot success. We had 127 vendor spots purchased by 87 vendors and 4 car corral spots sold. We grossed nearly $5000 and had expenses of about $1100 leaving us with a net income of about $3900.

This could not have happened without some very significant help. First we need to thank Jeff Barnes, the originator of the Real Mans Yard Sale. He has graciously allowed us to take over management of this event, all the while staying at an arms length in case we need any help and guidance. Next there’s a bunch of volunteers that made this possible, first is my wife Jennifer Wood who acts as our treasurer and is hands on with each of our events. Our Exectutive Director Dave Bielecki and his wife Diane are always at the ready to make things happen. The following list of people are of extreme importance to what we do… Yesterday they performed Herculean tasks to make sure that this event came off in the manner it did. That list of people (in no particular order) is as follows…

-Donna and Russ Willet
I personally thanked all of those folks yesterday at the end of the event, but it’s important that they be recognized publicly for their hard work.

We will be meeting soon to discuss plans for future Real Mans Yard Sales and we will let you know what we come up with when plans are firm.

It’s also important to note that at our next meeting we will be discussing how to distribute these earnings to some deserving young people who are looking for assistance with their automotive education! We’ll let you know who those folks are soon as well!

Many many thanks to all of the vendors that were in attendance and all of the folks that came to purchase! We are certainly looking forward to the next event.

…..I failed to mention the Luber family, Robin, Dan and their 2 sons for handling parking chores in the morning. Their assistance was also vital!!
