Tonight is the last night of outdoor worship for the summer, and Mother Nature gave us a beautiful day for it! Come soak in the sunshine and refill your cup in the prayer garden at 6pm.

After worship, we will start moving furniture out of the sanctuary and back to where it belongs now that painting is completed. Please plan to help if you are able!

Join Faith and North Waseca for a combined back to school celebration on September 13th at FarmAmerica! Worship begins at 9am, with refreshments and activities (such as exploring their corn maze!) to follow. Please note that their historic church is a small distance from the parking lot, so plan to give yourself some time to walk over before worship. The tractor tram will be available for rides back and forth from the parking lot to the church for worship. Don't forget your backpacks for a backpack blessing in worship!

All who are available, head to church this morning as we get our fellowship hall and classrooms ready to be be painted! The office will be closed this week as painting is done. Worship will still occur at 6pm Wednesday, outside if the weather is nice and in the sanctuary if needed. Please excuse the mess as everything gets temporarily displaced for this project!

At our congregational meeting last night, we approved moving forward with painting our fellowship hall and classrooms! If you are able and willing to help prepare the space ahead of this work, please plan to be at church on Saturday, August 8th beginning at 8:30am. This will involve moving furniture.

Volunteers from Faith serve a meal at Shelter Church every other month, and it has been a meaningful addition to our church life together!

On Sunday, June 29, the Shelter Church community and friends of the ministry gathered for a special celebration to honor the shared roots of Shelter Church and Connections Shelter. They are now two separate organizations. Shelter Church is a worshipping community gathering every Sunday in the basement of Grace Lutheran in Mankato for a shared meal and worship. Connections Shelter is a shelter and drop-in center in Mankato dedicated to walking with neighbors experiencing homelessness, helping them move from crisis to stability. We give thanks to God for Shelter Church and Connections Shelter! Pastor Sarah Krolak serves as pastor of Shelter Church (in addition to her full-time call serving North Waseca and Faith). At the special service on June 28, the community was joined by Liz Paul, the Development Director of Connections Shelter. Synod staff member, Rev. Emily Carson, who served Shelter Church for about a year during a season of transition, was also present for the service.

On July 26, enter into to the Castle of Courage, where all who enter will discover that true courage comes from trusting God. This VBS program is for children ages PreK through 6th grade (PreK kids must be potty trained or be accompanied by an adult).

Through Bible stories, music, and adventures, all will learn Joshua 1:9 – that they can be strong and courageous because the Lord is with them wherever they go. Together we will build brave hearts, strong faith, and trust in our Mighty God.
