Today we had visitors at the church that truly exemplify God’s beauty and creativity. Pastor was compelled to baptize them, enroll them in membership, and sign them up as a worship Greeter, but alas… they instead went with a family who has rescued animals before. We are happy they have the support and love they need.

If you are looking for community (with no pressure but lots of love) consider visiting worship this Sunday at 10:00am. Here you are loved, celebrated, and welcomed with open arms.

A new chapter is beginning at First Congregational Church, and we hope you'll be part of the celebration!

Join us on Sunday, August 2 at 3:00 PM for the Service of Installation of Rev. Benjamin J. Barlow as we officially welcome him as our settled pastor and celebrate the ministry God is calling us to share together.

This special service will feature inspiring worship, uplifting music, meaningful fellowship, and a joyful gathering of friends old and new. Too many in the LGBTQIA+ community have experienced rejection, shame, or exclusion from communities that claimed to speak for God. Too many have been told they must hide parts of themselves to be loved, accepted, or welcomed. We believe there is a better way.

At First Congregational Church, we celebrate the beautiful diversity of God's creation. We affirm that you are wonderfully made, deeply loved, and worthy of belonging exactly as you are. No exceptions. No asterisks.

🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈

This June, we celebrate the beauty, dignity, and belovedness of our LGBTQIA+ siblings. At our church, we believe that every person is created in the image of God and worthy of love, respect, and full inclusion in the life of the community. We give thanks for the gifts, leadership, faith, courage, and wisdom that LGBTQIA+ people bring to our congregation and to the world.

Pride is both a celebration and a reminder. We celebrate the joy of living authentically and the diversity of God's creation. We also remember the ongoing work of building a world where every person can live free from discrimination, rejection, and fear.

Whether you have been part of our church for years, are searching for a spiritual home, or are wondering if there is a place for you in the life of faith, hear this clearly: You are welcome here. You are valued here. You are loved here. Not despite who you are, but as the person God created you to be.
