Very successful mission trip. We performed surgery on 113 people. The fence was able to be constructed around the school. They were also able to build an addition onto the school in the Baluba village. It was a very rewarding experience. We have made new friends.

Last day in Baluba today. We've done almost 100 surgeries in 4 days. Hoping to do a few more today. We're all exhausted. The people here are so thankful. The hospital staff has been wonderful. They work very hard for almost nothing. They earn about $20 US dollars a month. It's unbelievable!

Very busy day today. We did 12 pediatric hernias, 2 hours huge thyroid goiters, and a bunch of other procedures. 38 cases today. Exhausted.

We've had a busy two days. The people are coming from all around. The little hospital in Baluba is FULL! They have 6-8 people to a room in the wards. There are various ages from babies to seniors. It's incredible! We've done about 30 surgeries in the last two days. We added 35 more people to the list yesterday. We have fixed numerous hernias, performed a few hysterectomies. Now today we will tackle a few thyroid goiters. The people here are so friendly and appreciative of our service we are providing. The smiles on their faces say it all!!

We made it safely to Entebbe, Uganda with our supplies. It was an adventure in customs, but we made it!! Off to bed as it's 3 am here. Up early to head to Jinja to our hotel and unpack supplies in Baluba. Good night!!
