Happy March! The “Faithful Few” hope you and yours have
enjoyed the celebrations of the month. We also hope you have settled in with
Daylight Savings time, got past St. Patrick’s and Ramadan. In the spirit of our current world, LL Kim’s
Youth message was “Goodness and Mercy, Psalm 23:6” emphasizing how God’s Grace
and Mercy stays with us when we stay in his will no matter what goes on in our
life and the world.
Pastor Rodgers’ message “There’s an APP for That” (2 Tim. 3:16-17) counseled
us on dealing with all of life challenges.
He acknowledged that in our society, technology has created AI, Google
and Apps. However, he informed us that no
matter what challenges you face in life, whether a need for wisdom in love,
finances, work, family, etc., let the scriptures be your app. In addition, he wished for the world to use the
app (scripture) that says; ”Love your enemies and pray for them”.
Please remember those on our prayer lists and especially our most
senior members and friends, Mother Marian Davis (97) & Ernestine
Davis Staten (97), Alice Louis Mariner (96), Fred
Hopkins (97), Louise Whitley, Charles Willis, Joyce
Gray, Carol Midgett-Sheppard, Queenie Hardison Barnes and others.
We continue to support our community individuals and
organizations, local, state and national religious and charitable organizations
to the best of our ability. Many
thanks. As always, please support local
churches, community organizations, colleges, and others to the best of your
abilities. Any correspondence and donations can be sent to P. O. Box 8
