With saddened heart, the Great Lakes Ministries announces the passing of Bishop James Holland. Bishop Holland went home to be with our Lord around midnight last. He was a stalwart of the Christian faith and a pillar of the Great Lakes Church of God of Prophecy as an Area Presbyter for more than two decades. At the Regional Convention in 2025, Bishop Holland retired from regional appointment and was recognized, along with retiring Presbyters Bishop David Bolton and Bishop Roger Popplewell as “The Company of Elders.” Today, Bishop Holland is with the Great Cloud of Witnesses (Hebrews 12:1). Celebration of Life services will be announced once finalized.
