🙏🏽 Missionary Sunday Highlights 🙏🏽
What a mighty time we had in the Lord on this Missionary Sunday!

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Rev. Pat Middleton of St. James AME Church in Awendaw, SC, for blessing us with a powerful and thought-provoking message.

Preaching from Luke 10:38–42, her sermon, “Action with No Distraction,” centered on the story of Mary and Martha—a reminder to choose time with Jesus over the busyness of life.

She challenged us to recognize the things pulling our focus away from God and reminded us that true power comes from purposeful action grounded in undivided faith.

Thank you, Rev. Middleton, for bringing a word that stirred our hearts and realigned our spirits. 💜🙌🏽

We are grateful to Rev. Tiffany Huger for blessing us today with a powerful message from Daniel 3:25-27, reminding us that “You Are Coming Out!”

Just like the three Hebrew boys, even when the fire is turned up, God is right there in the midst of it all. And when you come out, you won’t even smell like smoke!

A Message to Our Church Family

It is with both gratitude and heartfelt emotion that we announce the upcoming transition of our beloved Pastor Gilbert Jenkins, who will soon be moving forward in his ministry journey.

We are truly thankful for the time Pastor Jenkins has served with us, a season marked by unity, spiritual growth, and renewed purpose within our church family. His leadership has touched hearts, healed divisions, and reminded us what it means to serve with love and humility.

Though this move brings a sense of sadness, we trust that God is ordering his steps, and we send him forth with our blessings and prayers for continued impact in the Kingdom.

Thank you, Pastor Jenkins, for your faithful service, your wisdom, and your unwavering heart for God's people.
You will always be a part of the New Mt. Zion's family.

📖 Sunday Recap | Mark 5:21–25 & 35–36
Subject: The Faithful Fatherly Formula

Today, Pastor delivered a powerful word centered around Jairus—a father whose faith moved him to seek Jesus in a desperate time. 🙏🏽

We were reminded that pride is never good—especially when it stands in the way of our breakthrough. Like Jairus, we must learn to let go of pride and hold on to faith. Even in the face of doubt or delay, Jesus says:
➡️ "Don’t be afraid; just believe." (Mark 5:36)

💡 A father’s strength isn’t in control—it’s in his faith, humility, and willingness to seek God.

Today's Scripture: John 8:2-10
Topic: "No Stone Left to Throw"

This morning, we were reminded that none of us are without fault. In John 8:2-10, Jesus challenged those who were quick to judge, saying, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone.”

Our pastor delivered a powerful message about how some folks, even church folk, can be quick to cast stones, forgetting that we are all human, all in need of grace, and all saved by that same mercy.

Before pointing fingers, let’s remember our own journey. Let’s lead with love, not judgment. Because when we truly reflect on our lives... we realize we’ve got no stone left to throw.
