Message: The Gift that Keeps on Giving

Have you ever been disappointed by a gift? We've all been there. But there's one gift that never disappoints—the gift that truly keeps on giving.

This Sunday we explored Romans 5:1-8 and discovered what it means to be justified by faith. Not because we cleaned up our act or earned God's approval, but because Jesus took the penalty in our place. While we were still sinners—powerless and undeserving—Christ died for us. That's not just good news; that's amazing news!

God doesn't waste your pain. Through suffering comes endurance, through endurance comes character, and through character comes hope. This hope won't embarrass you in the end. It's not wishful thinking—its confident expectation grounded in what God has already done through Jesus Christ.

Your future is secure. Your eternity is settled. And that means you can have deep joy even in the middle of hard things. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

Dear God,
Help me to trust You even when prayers feel unanswered. When I cannot see what You are doing or understand why things are taking longer than I hoped, remind me that You are still faithful and still at work. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.” (Romans 8:28)

Strengthen my faith in seasons of waiting and uncertainty. Help me not to lose heart or stop praying, but to keep seeking You with confidence and trust. Even when I do not understand, I choose to believe that Your wisdom, timing, and plans are greater than my own.

In Jesus’ name, amen. 🙏

Dear God,
Help me to walk in freedom from fear in every area of my life today. When anxiety, worry, or uncertainty try to take hold, remind me that You are greater than anything I face. Fill my heart with courage and peace that comes from trusting in You. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and self-control.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

Help me to stand firm in faith and not be controlled by fear of the future, fear of failure, or fear of what others think. Let Your presence strengthen me and remind me that I am safe in Your hands. Today I choose faith over fear and trust over worry.

In Jesus’ name, amen. 🙏
