Harvest Church Intl

Harvest Church Intl With six people in attendance, Reverend Michael E. Turpin began a Wednesday night bible study, which quickly grew in attendance. A church had begun.

Our Church History
The Ananeoo Christian Center began as a bible study on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the Unity Faith Deliverance Church of Jamaica, New York where Overseer Mildred Brown served as the Senior Pastor. Overseer Brown, preparing to retire, sought the Lord for someone to serve in her stead. Sensing that what was happening was intended by God to be more than a bible study, Reverend Turp

in sensed the call for pastoral leadership. He had the God-inspired idea to create a place of worship and fellowship where individuals and families could experience something new and different in Jesus Christ. Derived from the Greek, Ananeoo means to make fresh; to renovate; to make new; hence, the name Ananeoo Christian Center. On Sunday, June 5, 2005, Overseer Mildred Brown passed the mantle of pastoral service to Reverend Turpin. The sanctuary was filled to capacity. After preaching his first pastoral sermon, Reverend Turpin extended an invitation to join. Sixteen people stepped forward to become a part of what everyone sensed would be something very special. From that first Sunday in June 2005, membership increased rapidly. Each Sunday morning standing room only had become the order of the day, and Reverend Turpin diligently searched for and found a new location for ACC. Through much prayer and hard work, Reverend Turpin along with the members of ACC turned a warehouse into what is now a beautiful sanctuary. On April 9, 2006, with more than two hundred people in attendance, ACC held its first service at its new location at 111-05 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, NY. On December 2, 2007, by the direction of the Lord, Ananeoo Christian Center became The Harvest Church International same great church, just a new name. Presently, HCI is home to over one hundred fifty parishioners and is still growing. With the Lord’s guidance, Reverend Turpin is endeavoring to positively affect community and family. Mission
The mission of Harvest Church International, Inc. is to make disciples, train believers, and build families. HCI seeks to educate the believer and teach him how to live an abundant life. Through intensive bible study, persistent and consistent prayer, and loving fellowship, you will leave more empowered, refreshed and revived! Vision Statement
“You Become Better at Harvest Church International”
Purpose
Harvest Church International is a place of refreshing, deliverance and breakthrough for God’s people. Our purpose is to uplift, transform, and propel individuals in all walks of life into their destiny. Statement of Faith
We believe in one God, eternally existent as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is God’s inspired and infallible Word, and is the supreme standard and final authority for all conduct, faith, and doctrine. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His premillenial, personal return in power and glory. We believe that man was created in the image of God, but by willful transgression became sinful and is justly under the condemnation and wrath of Almighty God. We believe that the only salvation from this guilt and condemnation is through faith in the righteousness and atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that this salvation is the free giftof God’s love and grace. We believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit and that His ministry is to reveal Christ to men, to convict of sin, to regenerate repentant sinners and, by His presence and power, to sanctify the lives of the redeemed.
