In the stillness of Holy Saturday ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธโ€ฆ when Heaven seems quiet and the earth holds its breathโ€ฆ we stand watch, Church! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

We are in that in-between placeโ€ฆ where the promise has been spoken but not yet seenโ€ฆ where the cross is behind us but the Resurrection has not yet been revealed โณ

But donโ€™t you dare lose heart! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Because even in the silenceโ€ฆ God is still moving! Even in the waitingโ€ฆ God is still working! Even at the tombโ€ฆ the victory is already secured! โœ๏ธ

We keep vigil tonight ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ holding on to that flicker of faithโ€ฆ believing that at any moment, that small flame is about to burst into a resurrection fire that will light up the whole world! ๐ŸŒโœจ

So stay prayerful ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ stay hopeful ๐Ÿ’ซ stay expectant ๐Ÿ‘€

Because Sunday is comingโ€ฆ and when God gets ready to move, no grave can hold Him down! โ›ช๐Ÿ”ฅ

On this dayโ€ฆ April 4thโ€ฆ history and holiness meet in a powerful way โœŠ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

We remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. โ€” a modern-day prophet of justice โ€” who at 6:01 PM in Memphis gave his life standing for dignity, for workers, for our people. ๐Ÿ’”
A voice silencedโ€ฆ but a movement that could NOT be stopped ๐Ÿ”ฅ

And on this very same dayโ€ฆ the Church lifts up Saint Benedict the Moor โ€” a humble Black man, once enslaved by circumstance, who rose in holiness, faith, and quiet power ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพโœจ
A life hiddenโ€ฆ but a witness that still speaks ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Two Black men.
Two different centuries.
One shared calling.

Both knew struggle.
Both walked through racism and rejection.
Both trusted God anyway.

One preached in the streets ๐Ÿ“ฃ
One prayed in the monastery โ›ช
But BOTH stood as living testimonies that Black faith is powerful, sacred, and unstoppable ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Dr. King fought for civil rights โœŠ๐Ÿพ
Saint Benedict fought for spiritual righteousness ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ
And both remind us that liberation is BOTH earthly AND eternal

Today we donโ€™t just rememberโ€ฆ
We REFLECT.
We RECLAIM.
We RISE. ๐Ÿšจ

Because the same God that sustained Saint Benedictโ€ฆ
Is the same God that strengthened Dr. Kingโ€ฆ
And He is STILL working through US today ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ”ฅ
