Title: The Power of Personal Prayer**

*Devotional Thought:*
In a world filled with constant noise and distraction, personal prayer is our sacred lifeline to God. It’s where we lay down our burdens, seek His will, and grow in intimacy with the One who knows us best.

Jesus Himself modeled this practice: *“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”* (Mark 1:35, NIV). If the Son of God needed time alone with the Father, how much more do we?

Personal prayer is not about eloquence or ritual. It is honest, consistent conversation. It’s where we exchange anxiety for peace: *“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”* (Philippians 4:6, NIV).

Through personal prayer, we receive strength: *“Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles.”* (Isaiah 40:31, NKJV). And in those quiet moments, God often speaks the loudest.

*Prayer:*
Lord, teach me to seek You daily in personal prayer. Draw me into deeper fellowship with You. Help me to prioritize your presence above all else. Amen.
