So much love to our trans / nonbinary / intersex members, family, and loved ones.

“You are holy. You are sacred. We love you. We support you, and we will protect you.”

I affirm this again today, joining with heads of religious traditions from United Church of Christ, ReformJudaism.org The Episcopal Church and others. And I will continue to affirm it until we live in a world where people of all gender identities and expressions are celebrated as holy and whole and we can all thrive in the safety and love of our communities.

“Prayer is a way not just of naming what we yearn for, but also of harnessing our own power, including what we choose to do with it once we harness it.” — UU Rev. Nancy McDonald Ladd

✨ What does prayer mean to YOU as a UU?

We’d love to hear your reflections in the comments!
