Today is a day to celebrate moms.
For the 100,000 things you do that never get acknowledged. For every runny nose you’ve wiped, diaper you’ve changed, midnight feeding you’ve given, or permanent marker you’ve cleaned off the wall. For every temper tantrum you’ve sat through. For every meal you’ve cooked. For every single load of laundry that you’ve washed, dried, folded and put away before anyone even knew it happened. For the kindness you’ve shown and the boo-boos you’ve kissed, and the boogie man you’ve ushered out from under the bed. Thank you. We celebrate all those moments and so many more.
But we know that Mother’s Day can be…complicated. For the one who lost her mom. For the one who lost a child. For the one who’s had a miscarriage. For the one with a prodigal. For the one longing to be a mom. For the one with a difficult relationship with her mom. For the foster mom. For the step-mom. For the grandma raising her grandkids. For the spiritual mom.
We see you all.
We thank you for the impact you’ve made.
And we pray this Mother's Day would be full of the Father's love 💗
