Sitting in my men’s discipleship group, we were talking about something our pastor Joby Martin often says — that this Book is offensive.

Not because it’s harsh for the sake of being harsh.
But because it confronts us. It corrects us. It refuses to bend to our preferences.

That conversation led to this design.

Truth isn’t always comfortable. It wasn’t meant to be. The Word doesn’t adjust itself to fit us — it reshapes us.

This shirt is a reminder that when Scripture challenges us, it’s not a flaw in the message. It may be evidence that it’s doing exactly what it was written to do.

Lanie designed this shirt and she’s so excited to finally share it.

It’s inspired by the woman who reached for Jesus with nothing but her faith — no status, no power, no certainty beyond who He was. She simply believed that if she could just reach Him, she would be healed.

That’s what makes this story so powerful.

All she did was reach.

All we are called to do is reach — not with perfection, not with works, not with credentials — but with faith. And in Him, there is salvation.

This shirt was conceived in our discipleship group — just flawed humans talking through what God has done and continues to do.

Broken people helping to rescue broken people.

When you really stop and think about it, that is such an incredible gift from our God. He doesn’t wait for perfection. He redeems, restores, and then uses what He has healed to reach someone else.

That truth shaped this design, and we’re grateful to share it with you.

It’s been a busy day over here.

We’ve been working behind the scenes designing new pieces and getting a few things ready to roll out. Today alone we finalized 3 new shirt designs, 5 new trucker-style hats, and some canvas totes.

We know we haven’t posted much over the past couple of weeks — but it hasn’t been quiet. It’s been building.

Welcome to Two-Wooden-Beams. Designed with purpose. Centered on Christ.

Two Wooden Beams is a faith-driven apparel brand rooted in the sacrifice of Christ and the truth of the Gospel. Every shirt is designed with intention so the message—not decoration—remains the focus.

On the front left chest, each shirt bears the cross, forming the “T” in Two. It is placed deliberately in the center position, where Jesus hung and where our focus belongs. The surrounding “W” and “B” represent the two wooden beams, completing the structure without competing with the cross.

On the right sleeve, every shirt carries a crown of thorns encircling three crosses. This element is intentionally subdued—present, consistent, and symbolic rather than dominant. The same restraint applies to the “W” and “B,” which support the message without drawing attention away from it.

The back design and the cross itself are not subdued. They are meant to be seen, read, and engaged with. The back of the shirt carries the message boldly, while the cross remains the visual and spiritual focal point. Everything else exists to support that truth, not distract from it.

We pair this design philosophy with high-quality, comfortable apparel built for everyday wear, because the message matters—and the product should honor it.
