Jacksonville City-Wide Choir Recording

Jacksonville City-Wide Choir Recording Elisha Parris (PEInc) is seeking to executive-produce a live gospel recording of approximately 100 choral voices from all across the city.

In today’s age of Full Gospel and Praise Team ministries, Parriscope recognizes that there is an undeniable gap in the church’s music ministry. Not every church singer is a “lead” or “solo” singer, and not every song requires runs, rifts and acrobatic vocal achievements. Many pastors and ministers have realized that this more complicated song construction can lead to the intimidation of potential

choir members, resulting in lower participation and service from members of all ages. The goal of this 12-14 song master recording is to go back to the simple basics of mass choir-style gospel music: songs written and composed in soprano, alto and tenor harmony (or unison) enjoyed by voices of all ages and levels. These types of songs are easy to teach, easy to play, and easy for the congregation to engage.
