In September 2015, Jim VanSteenhouse traveled to Canada’s Northwest Territories for an archery moose hunt. Deep in the wilderness, miles from base camp, he was attacked by a grizzly bear. In a moment, he went from hunter to hunted.

Jim survived the attack, and that experience changed the course of his life. Today, he shares his testimony of survival, faith, and the grace of God.

Bear Man will be filling the pulpit at The Chapel on Sunday, November 1st, sharing his testimony and bringing the morning message.

Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are available here at The Chapel. We encourage you to take a box, fill it with gifts, and return it to help bless a child in need this Christmas.

OCC is a national ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that delivers gift-filled shoeboxes to children around the world, sharing the love of Christ in a practical and meaningful way.
