A new series starts this Sunday: “Resurrection in Real Life”
Let this be your invitation to lean in, listen closely, and let God speak in a fresh way.
Come and join the conversation: where do we see (where do we NEED) glimpses of abundant life?

Sometimes the most meaningful moments in worship aren’t planned:
A child noticing colored light spilling across an “empty” page.
A last-minute pivot that brought a Christmas Eve candle—one from Bethlehem—back to life for Easter, lighting the way for resurrection and new beginnings.
Children’s artwork carried forward in the offering plates, becoming part of the altar story.
And in the traditional service? When the bell from the acolyte candle lighter literally (noisily) fell to the floor… it didn’t ruin the moment—it revealed something deeper. Easter isn’t about pretending perfection. It’s about real, honest, unfiltered grace that appears, ready or not.

One of our young adults (Noah) made this connection, too: in an Easter service where we lit candles and proclaim, “the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it,” the piece that fell was the snuffer—the very thing meant to put out the light.

Stones roll away. Snuffers crumble.
And still, the light of Christ shines in the darkness. Praise be to God, who gives us victory in Jesus (even in this imperfect world). Christ is Risen, indeed. Alleluia!✨
