Hello Leaders, our Leadership Skill Meeting will be held on the 2nd Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at our church The Garden 5400 Verna Blvd. This meeting will consist of various trainings such as teamwork, self awareness and leadership. Lunch will be served during the session. Your attendance is vital. Please come prepared to share, work, learn, and participate.

Bible Verse

God wants to bless us... but we must learn to please God in return. God wants us to listen and be obedient. God wants us to gratefully and willfully give our first fruits and tithes. God wants us to care for those in need... the homeless, widows, orphans, the ill, the forgotten... We must not forget to be patient, sometimes are blessings are stored up in heavenly riches! 💖🙌🙌🙌

What are you grateful for this morning?

God's everlasting love, grace, and mercy are some of mine. As well as a 2nd, 3rd, 4th chance... etc. We flawed creatures are unworthy, yet through God's divine mercy, and the immense love of not only God, but Jesus' willful sacrifice 💖 we are made whole once again by the promise and fulfillment of everlasting life and the power of the Holy Spirit! 🙌

Thank you Father for ALL your blessings and watching over me. I am undeserving but through your beloved son Jesus I am made new and whole again. Rain your blessings father. Anoint me. Allow me to do your works and your will! 🙌

I have to admit, I always wondered what this part of Psalm 23 meant. I thought “He anoints my head with oil” was figurative language for God keeping the Psalmist healthy. I never knew this parallel.

Anoint my head with oil

“Sheep can get their head caught in briers and die trying to get untangled. There are horrid little flies that like to torment sheep by laying eggs in their nostrils which turn into worms and drive the sheep to beat their head against a rock, sometimes to death. Their ears and eyes are also susceptible to tormenting insects. So the shepherd anoints their whole head with oil. Then there is peace. That oil forms a barrier of protection against the evil that tries to destroy the sheep. Do you have times of mental torment? Do the worrisome thoughts invade your mind over and over? Do you beat your head against a wall trying to stop them? Have you ever asked God to anoint your head with oil? He has an endless supply! His oil protects and makes it possible for you to fix your heart, mind, and eyes on Him today and always! There is peace in the valley! May our good good Father anoint your head with oil today so that your cup overflows with blessings! God is good and He is faithful!!”
