On Sunday, our "Faith's Little Flock" group of kids that meets during worship was bursting at the seams, so someone stepped in and took the older kids to start a new group. They've dubbed themselves "Faith's Older Flock" and took the opportunity to write thank you notes. We are in the middle of our sermon series on prayer and were exploring prayers of thanksgiving and praise. Praise God for these wonderful kids and thank you to our wonderful helpers who support our children's ministry!

On Pentecost Sunday, we celebrate the work of God the Holy Spirit, creating and nurturing faith in Sydney, Eli, and Rigby. Like a blazing fire, the Holy Spirit warms us with it's presence, brings light to our darkness, nourishes our faith, and sends us out to join in the work of God's mission.

Our "Read the Bible in a Year" group gathering has been cancelled for today. Please join us next Wednesday at 10:00am in the church library as we discuss our insights and reflections. We are utilizing The Bible Recap by Tara-Leigh Cobble, available on the YouVersion Bible app, to guide our journey.

Yesterday’s Picnic and Planting Day was a great success! Hosta and ferns were transplanted to the north side of the church, colorful annuals were added to the bed along the parking lot, and mulch was spread to help get everything ready to grow for another season. Thank you to all the hands—big and small—who helped!
