📖 Sermon Recap
“Gifts from a Good Father”
Romans 8:14-17 NIV
Speaker: Bro. Chauncy M. Whaley

Today’s message reminded us that as children of God, we are not only led by His Spirit — we are heirs to His promises. We have been adopted by a Good Father who gifts us identity, purpose, and eternal hope. 🙌🏽

🕊️ Walk boldly in your inheritance.
💝 Receive the gifts only a Good Father can give.

SUNDAY SERMON RECAP
🎟️ “My Ticket Is Not Working”
🗣️ Rev. Dr. Ronald G. Williams Sr.
📖 Acts 12:11–16

🔥 “Sometimes, we pray for the breakthrough, but when the door opens, we’re too stunned to walk through it.”

Today’s powerful word reminded us that what seems like a delay is often divine alignment. Just like the believers who couldn’t believe Peter was really at the door (Acts 12:14-16), we sometimes struggle to accept that God has already answered.

🚪 Your “ticket” may feel invalid—but the truth is, God’s favor overrides human systems. If He opened the gate, walk through it with boldness!

🙌 Stop questioning the miracle. Start walking in it.

🙏🏾 Sunday Reflections from New Bethel AME Church 🙌🏾

This week’s powerful message from Rev. Dr. Ronald G. Williams Sr. came from Acts 1:20–26, under the timely topic:

“I’m Putting It in God’s Hands.” 👐🏾

In a world full of uncertainty, the Word reminded us that when decisions are beyond our control and the weight feels too heavy, God invites us to release it, to trust Him completely. Just like the apostles cast lots in faith, we too must believe that God’s divine hand is guiding every outcome.

🔑 Key Takeaway: When we surrender to God’s will, we don’t give up, we gain peace. What are you holding on to that God is asking you to release?

🙌🏾 Let’s walk into this week with renewed trust, putting our plans, fears, and future in God’s capable hands.

Sunday Message Recap
Topic: “It’s Time to Grow Up”
Scripture: Jonah 3:1
Speaker: Rev. Dr. Ronald G. Williams Sr.

Today we were challenged to stop repeating the same cycles and step into spiritual maturity. God gave Jonah a second chance, but with it came a call to grow, obey, and move forward.
It’s time to stop doing things the way we’ve always done them — growth is the goal.

Let’s grow up in faith, obedience, and purpose.

Sunday Worship Recap | New Bethel AME Church
Message: “Hello, Let Me Reintroduce Myself… (My Mind Was on You When I Was Silent)”
Scripture: Galatians 4:4-5 (AMP)
Speaker: Pastor Richard Christie Jr.

Today, Pastor Christie reminded us that even when God seems silent, His mind and His heart are always on us. When the fullness of time came, He sent His Son to redeem us and welcome us into His family.
He hasn’t forgotten about you — He’s reintroducing Himself in your life!

Sermon Recap | Sunday Inspiration
Scripture: John 20:1-2, 11-17 (NIV)
Topic: “Get Off the Wall”
Speaker: Rev. Dr. Ronald G. Williams Sr.

Today, we were reminded through Mary Magdalene’s encounter with the risen Christ that life is too short to stay stuck. Rev. Dr. Williams encouraged us to stop standing on the sidelines of our own lives. It’s time to get off the wall—step out in faith, embrace purpose, and live fully.

The tomb is empty—so why are you still waiting by the wall?
Jesus is calling you by name. It’s time to move!

Palm Sunday Praise at New Bethel AME Church

Today, we were reminded of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem through the powerful word shared by Brother Chaungy M. Whaley.

Scripture: John 12:12–15 (NIV)
Sermon Topic: “I’m Here for Something”

As the people waved palm branches and shouted “Hosanna!”, we too declared our purpose and welcomed the King into our hearts. Brother Whaley’s message encouraged us to walk boldly in our calling, knowing we’re not here by accident—we’re here for something.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this spirit-filled workshop. Let this Palm Sunday be a reminder that our purpose is tied to something greater!
