The First Coast Wind Symphony presents a Family Concert titled “Salute to America 250” featuring Cathedral Organist and Canon for Music Timothy Tuller. The program will include patriotic music that celebrates America’s 250th birthday and Mr. Tuller will perform the classic “Crown Imperial,” a coronation march by English composer William Walton.

The program will also include the premiere performance of a fresh new work by local composer Bob Moore titled “Finster!” based on the colorful life of American folk artist Howard Finster. Several Finster paintings will be displayed during the performance as the music captures the spirit of each artwork. Other works on the concert will include JENOVA and Sephiroth's Theme from the popular “Final Fantasy VII.”

The First Coast Wind Symphony is led by Music Director Artie Clifton and Conductor Paul Weikle. Currently in its 36th season, the group provides a cultural service by offering free concerts of quality wind music throughout the greater Jacksonville area.
