Sacred relationship deepens when I arrive as a listener not as someone who wants to fill the space with my voice. Before I bring my prayers to a place I spend time learning what already exists there. The land does not wait for my offerings. It is a living presence, with its history, rhythms and spirit. Relationship begins when I see myself as a guest and let the place speak before I ask anything of it.
