Empowering Kingdom Greatness Ministry Training Institute

Empowering Kingdom Greatness Ministry Training Institute Empowering Kingdom Greatness (EKG) School of Ministry is raising up leaders that are able to meet the needs of this generation.

The 20th century church is out of touch with the real needs of society. We have become a subculture that speaks a language no one understands. Our methods are outdated and ineffective. We are answering the questions that no one is asking, while ignoring and minimizing the ones that are being asked. Empowering Kingdom Greatness (EKG) School of Ministry will prepare you to reach this generation. Our

commitment to the Word of God is absolute. Our commitment to methodology is as varied as the needs that exist. We are in touch with the world and we are on the cutting edge of what works. If you are more interested in reaching the world than following the crowd, this may be the training program for you. Empowering Kingdom Greatness (EKG) School of Ministry is a God ordained empowerment tool that is designed to “Reconnect God’s Leaders’ Back To The Heartbeat Of God”.

I want to speak directly to everyone who has been patient with us.

Empowering Kingdom Greatness Leadership Institute paused — not because the mission changed, but because we refused to give you anything less than our best.

We've spent this time rebuilding our curriculum to better equip leaders who are serious about Kingdom purpose. The foundation is stronger. The content is richer. And the commitment to developing you hasn't wavered one bit.

We're back. And we're grateful you're still here.

Details on the new semester are coming. Follow this page to stay in the loop.

Let me be honest with you. Most of what we call evangelism today would be unrecognizable to Jesus and the early disciples. We've turned it into programs, campaigns, and scripted conversations. We've made it about getting people to pray a prayer, sign a card, or walk an aisle. But that's not what Jesus modeled, and it's not what He commissioned His followers to do.

Come out tonight and be empowered and equipped to be an effective witness "of" NOT "to" Jesus Christ. Let's learn the Jesus Model.....

Will your face be in the place?

Today's Kingdom Leadership Tip:

Character is the foundation of every divine assignment because God never gives you something to do without first giving you someone to become.

When Samuel was sent to anoint the next king of Israel, he looked at David's older brothers and was impressed by their outward appearance. But God reminded him, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7). David was chosen not for his résumé but for his character, not for his appearance but for his heart's condition.

A wise man once humorously noted, "Character is like pregnancy – you can't hide it for long!" Eventually, what's inside you will show up in your leadership, your relationships, and your response to pressure.

Character is both developed and revealed by tests, and all of life is a test. Rick Warren

While serving, you will "develop" Christ's character and "learn" to cope with problems. In order to develop a Christ-like character it can only be achieved in the midst of problems.

Be Transformed in the Presence of Christ.

The most important principle for all Christian leadership is to lead out of spiritual transformation. This transformation happens as we spend quality time in the presences of Jesus. We must first intentionally seek the presence of Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

“We can ignore, but we can nowhere evade, the presence of God. The world is crowded with Him. He walks everywhere incognito.”

“Practicing the presence is an invitation to see and experience every moment as a gift of God. It is to live alive to union with the Trinity. This practice must become habitual in the life of every believer, and it must include:

* seeking to see others through the eyes of God
* stopping throughout the day to listen to God
* carrying or placing symbols in your office and home that remind you of God’s presence
* praying God's Word and confessing it over your life

God who walks with us, sometimes incognito and sometimes so powerfully and clearly, we long for more of your presence. Help us nurture habits and practices that enable us to perceive you crowding this world we live in. We also long for the fruits of your presence. Open our ears and eyes to your Triune presence, and bring us the blessings of being with you. Help us to pray in order to feel near to you, and help us, when we feel near to you, to turn to you in prayer.

Every time you forget that character is one of God’s purposes for your life, you will become frustrated by your circumstances. You’ll wonder, Why is this happening to me? Why am I having such a difficult time?

One answer is that life is supposed to be difficult! It’s what enables us to grow. Remember, earth is not heaven! Many Christians misinterpret Jesus’ promise of the “abundant life” (John 10:10) to mean perfect health, a comfortable lifestyle, constant happiness, full realization of your dreams, and instant relief from problems through faith and prayer. In a word, they expect the Christian life to be easy. They expect heaven on earth.

This self-absorbed perspective treats God as a genie who simply exists to serve you in your selfish pursuit of personal fulfillment. But God is not your servant, and if you fall for the idea that life is supposed to be easy, either you will become severely disillusioned or you will live in denial of reality.

Never forget that life is not about you! You exist for God’s purposes, not vice versa.

God wants His children to bear His image and likeness, too. The Bible says,

You were… created to be like God, truly righteous and holy. — Ephesians 4:24

Let me be absolutely clear: You will never become God, or even a god. That prideful lie is Satan’s oldest temptation. Satan promised Adam and Eve that if they followed his advice, “ye shall be as gods” (Genesis 3:5).

Many religions and New Age philosophies still promote this old lie that we are divine or can become gods. This desire to be a god shows up every time we try to control our circumstances, our future, and people around us. But as creatures, we will never be the Creator.

God doesn’t want you to become a god; He wants you to become godly – taking on His values, attitudes, and character. The Bible says,

Take on an entirely new way of life – a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces His character in you. – Ephesians 4:22-24

God wants you to grow up spiritually and become like Christ. Becoming like Christ does not mean losing your personality or becoming a mindless clone. God created your uniqueness, so He certainly doesn’t want to destroy it. Christlikeness is all about transforming your character, not your personality.

Remember you were created in the "image" of God, and God is a spirit.... Now He wants to develop you into His "likeness".
