What a wonderful day of worship, fellowship, and celebration as we honored Pastor Clare on her final Sunday preaching at Avondale. ❤️

Following the service, our church family gathered around tables filled with delicious food, warm conversations, laughter, and countless memories. It was a beautiful reminder that while ministry is about sermons and Sunday mornings, it’s also about the relationships, moments, and community we build together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special and to all who came to share in the celebration.

A morning well spent. 🥪❤️

Today, volunteers of all ages came together for Feed My Sheep, preparing lunches for our neighbors in need. Every sandwich made, every bag packed, and every helping hand shared is a reminder that small acts of kindness can have a big impact.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time this morning. Together, we’re living out our faith one meal at a time.

The church will be re-keyed late June or early July. Anyone/everyone currently with a key will need to get with Patrick...

The church will be re-keyed late June or early July. Anyone/everyone currently with a key will need to get with Patrick prior to this event to complete all required paperwork\background checks as needed.

After the re-keying it could take 2-3 weeks to complete all requirements to obtain a key.

Patrick is in the office on most weekdays between 10-1, you can also catch him at church on Sundays.

It’s a meaningful weekend at Avondale! ❤️

Join us on Saturday at 8:00 AM as we gather for Feed My Sheep, serving our neighbors with food, fellowship, and compassion.

Then on Sunday at 10:00 AM, we invite you to worship with us for Pastor Clare’s final Sunday service at Avondale. Together, we’ll celebrate her ministry, leadership, and the many ways she has touched our church family.

Following worship, please stay for a Reception at 11:00 AM as we share memories, gratitude, and well wishes for Pastor Clare’s next chapter.

Whether you’ve been here for years or are visiting for the first time, we’d love for you to be part of this special weekend.

🦆 Happy National Donald Duck Day! 🦆

Today we celebrate everyone's favorite feathered friend who somehow manages to turn even the simplest tasks into an adventure. 😄

Donald may be known for getting a little flustered when life doesn't go according to plan (and honestly... who can't relate? 😅), but he always keeps going, surrounded by friends who care about him.

Whether you're having a perfectly productive day or a "why is everything going wrong?" kind of day, Donald reminds us that sometimes all you can do is laugh, shake your feathers, and keep going.

So today, take a moment to smile, embrace your quirks, and remember that you are loved just as you are.

Some days don't turn out the way you thought they would. And that's okay.

Some days are productive and full of energy.
Some days are messy and don't go according to plan.
Some days feel joyful and light.
Some days feel heavy.

Some days you check every box on your to-do list.
Some days just getting through the day is enough.

And all of those days are part of being human.

Give yourself grace for the days that don't look the way you hoped they would. Celebrate the victories, no matter how small. Rest when you need to. Start over when tomorrow comes.

Remember: your worth is not measured by your productivity, your accomplishments, or how perfect your day was.

God's love for you remains the same on the good days, the hard days, and every day in between.
