A note from Pastor Steve:

Greetings,

Here at our church, during the month of September, we are having a MONTH OF CONSECRATION.

To consecrate means, "to make holy" or "to dedicate to a higher purpose." January is usually the month that people make resolutions, set goals, and for many Christians it is the month that they rededicate and recommit their lives to Christ.

Let me encourage you to also make the month of September a Month of Consecration for you as well. In our church we will be adding extra days of prayer and fasting, and I will be asking our church family to take more time this month reading the book of Psalms. In many of the Psalms that were written by David, we can see David's passion for God and his desire to get closer to his Shepherd.

Please join our church family, as we follow the example of David, and through prayer, fasting, and the Word, we consecrate our lives to Christ, and strengthen our relationship with Him during the month of September. God bless you.

As children return to school this week, please keep them in your prayers. Pray especially for the Lord to keep His hand of protection upon them, and for His blessings over them to help them excel in their studies. Also keep their teachers in prayer.

Last Sunday was our annual ‘Blessing of the Children’ Sunday. Pastor Steve always has a loving message for the children, and words of godly wisdom for the parents as their children begin a new school year. At the close of service, Pastor Steve has all of the children come up front for a special prayer of protection and blessing over them.

Each student present in service received a love gift from the church to help go towards their school supplies.

To all of our children, may God bless you, and may this be your BEST school year yet!
