September 4th - 10th Christ Church Weekly News

We will be gathering together to fellowship and worship our Lord on campus at 9917 103rd St. Jacksonville, FL 32210 at 10AM EST this Sunday, 9.6.26. Pastor Matt will be bringing us the message. Please invite a neighbor or friend!

This week…

1. The CCJAX Ladies Bible Study is nearing the end of their study on “Depending on Jesus.” They will be meeting this week on Wed. morning (9.9.26) at 9:30AM. Ladies of all ages are welcome at any time. The new study “I Am: Discovering Who Jesus Is” will be starting early on in September. See Kristen, Sharon, or Lee for any questions or more info.

2. There will be Wednesday morning, 11AM, Eucharist Service this week. (9.9.26)

3. Ladies Lunch Bunch will be meeting at First Watch at noon on Wednesday, September 9th. They are located at 4407 Roosevelt Blvd. Jacksonville. Ladies of all ages are invited to join in this wonderful time of fellowship!

4. Sunday School this Sunday: 1st Samuel class with Doug Nihoul will begin at 9AM.

5. Wednesday Night Bible Study is in full swing! Come for a potluck dinner at 6:15 PM and stay for Kidzone, C4 Youth, and Adult Bible Study on Elisha at 7 PM! Invite a friend!

6. Pastor Larry and Liza are leading a Wednesday night class on “The Steps to Freedom in Christ.” It is only a few weeks in so feel free to join! The class meets in Room 1 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. There is a cost of $19 for the materials but scholarships are available.

7. There is a fundraiser gift card raffle winner will be announced THIS Sunday, following the service! Stay after the service for a few minutes so you don’t miss your name being called.

8. The CCJAX Men’s Group happy hour will be happening on 9.11.26 this coming month, due to the holiday. Come at 6:30 PM and enjoy fellowship with other men plus a lively discussion with one of the pastors on staff.

9. The church office will be closed, Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. It will reopen on Tuesday, September 8.

3. Ladies Lunch Bunch will be meeting at Chili’s in Oakleaf at noon on August 26th. They are located at 9530 Applecross Road Jacksonville. Ladies of all ages are invited to join in this wonderful time of fellowship!

4. Sunday School this Sunday: 1st Samuel class with Doug Nihoul will begin at 9AM. We are still looking for someone to lead a second option for a Sunday School class! Let Pastor Larry or Pastor Matt know!

5. Wednesday Night Bible Study is in full swing! Come for a potluck dinner at 6:15 PM and stay for Kidzone, C4 Youth, and Adult Bible Study on Elisha at 7 PM! Invite a friend!

6. The Grocery Giveaway on Tuesday nights is in need of MEN to help. Please consider donating your time to help, men, from 4:30PM-6PM as many Tuesdays as possible. You can see Shelley Vignola with any questions you may have.

7. Pastor Larry and Liza are leading a new Wednesday night class on “The Steps to Freedom in Christ.” It began this past Wednesday but everyone is welcome to come as often as possible. The class meets in Room 1 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. There is a cost of $19 for the materials but scholarships are available.

8. Thank you to all who donated school supplies! Your gifts helped to lessen the stress parents have at the beginning of the school year.
