Sunday School is not just for children. Living Faith Church Jacksonville has Bible Study classes for all ages at 9 am each Sunday morning. Ms Vickie and Ms Charlotte welcome children of all ages. Pastor Jim has Bible Study and activities for youth. This Sunday begins new adult studies. Kevin will lead an in-depth study of the Joy epistle, Philippians. This will complement and expand the sermon series from Pastor Wayne at 10:30 Sunday morning. Rosalyn will be leading a study of Hebrews, Jesus fully revealed as the "Better way." Adults, preview the books, be prepared to discuss and address any questions. If you have not been attending Sunday School this is the perfect time. "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 esv"

Have you ever observed a flock of sheep and not thought of Psalm 23? Jesus is the good shepherd. Many sermons have been preached using the analogy of sheep and shepherd. Life often feels uncertain with unexpected turns. Today remember that you are not walking alone. God’s guidance is not just about leading you to the right destination—it’s about walking beside you every step of the way. His presence is your peace, His wisdom your compass, and His love your shelter. In Christ you are cared for, provided for, and deeply loved. You don’t have to have all the answers—just trust the One who does. The Lord is our shepherd.

In Colossians 3:12-13 Paul has written the fundamentals of children of God: holy, merciful, kind, humble, meek, patient, forgiving, Christ-like. Then he reminds us, love is the foundation. Just as a house cannot stand without a solid foundation, a life fill with chaos and discord will fall. Love is not merely an emotion, or words spoken, but a powerful force that binds everything together in perfect harmony. Above all may we be clothed with his love, which will bind us together in perfect harmony.

Have you climbed a high mountain, under your own strength or in a vehicle? The air gets fresher, the world below grows smaller and smaller, the heavens seem to open up and be nearer. When the world, down here below, presses in, people disappoint, deadlines circle, burdens cause shoulders to sag - move up to the Rock that is higher. Jesus is the Rock. He calls us up to breathe fresh air, gain a new perspective, see as He sees. "Lord Jesus Christ, You are the great and mighty Rock in my life, my Strength, my Stability. I worship You today. I want to climb as high as I can into Your vast strength and beauty. I want to see my world, with all of its anxieties and pain, through Your eyes and with Your perspective."

Pastor Wayne, leading through the joy epistle, Philippians spoke extensively on Chapter 2 verses 12 and 13 yesterday. A powerful lesson for God's children to know. The power of God in us leads to salvation being worked out in and through us and is a Living Faith life. May you be blessed, and be a blessing, today.

Hebrews 13:20-21 speaks of God equipping us with everything good for doing His will, emphasizing His active role in our spiritual growth. The assurance of God’s active role in our sanctification is incredibly comforting in today’s world, where distractions and challenges abound. It reminds us that we are not alone in our spiritual journey. This assurance can be particularly relevant in times of doubt, struggle, lies, and half-truths. Jesus Christ is Lord of all, providing a foundation of hope and trust in God’s plan. Jesus is The Way, The Truth, The Life. Let us choose to walk with Him. Living Faith Church Jacksonville celebrates Jesus in worship and praise each Sunday, 10:30 am, join us there.

God knows exactly what’s going on in our life. Romans 8:28–29 says God is using everything in life for His good and loving purpose: to make us more like Jesus Christ so we can experience the abundant quality of life Jesus experienced. As children of the Father we are never alone, He provides the Helper, Holy Spirit. He intercedes with and for us. No matter what circumstances we face, we can glorify God, trust Him, and walk in victory.
