Southside Christian Church Jacksonville (Disciples of Christ) Like most Christians, Disciples affirm Jesus Christ is the son of the Living God and all people are God's Children.

As a church family, we are trying to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there is relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer and compassionate care for those in need. We would like to have a contagious faith that will influence and encourage our entire community, one life at a time. Our church doors are wide open to people of all backgrounds rega

rdless of where they are on their spiritual journey. So whether you are a spiritual seeker who is just starting to ask questions about God and faith, or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at Southside Christian Church. Our children experience God through "Worship and Wonder." Worship & Wonder uses a multi-sensory approach of storytelling as a primary means for encountering God, so God is experienced, not just learned about. This approach enables all generations, together, to bring their lived experiences into dialogue with God in the biblical stories and to share these experiences with others.
