Paul spoke of his friend saying: For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
For all of you who have been faithful to continue in prayer year-after-year, our Gracious God extended His Great Mercy on our beloved Brother Charlie Allen, and upon all of us also, lest we would have incurred "sorrow upon sorrow!" Let's continue to remember all those who have received great mercy, for indeed our God the Father of Jesus Christ is faithful to demonstrate His great mercy while extending to us all His free grace!

Brother Charles (Charlie) Allen leaving out from the Church House (1995) after Church Services. As an "influencer," before the term was popular. He was there at the SERTOMA (Service To Man) football practices and games (I was on the Red Vikings). He was always there when Landmark's Softball Teams played. I remember the first time I heard him when he prayed.
The men gathered before the morning Worship Service. He made a request, which I noticed he was faithful to always include when he prayed; namely, "...that lost souls would be saved."
As a major influencer in my life, he could have done nothing greater than persuade me by His prayer, to remain on task, preach the gospel of the Glory of Christ: The glorious gospel of the Grace of God. Prayers for Brother Charlie and his wife Betty, and Praise to God for his steadfast focus on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
