Today, we pause to thank God and celebrate a faithful servant of the Lord, Pastor Al Letson, as he retires after 31 years of devoted service as Pastor of Congregational Care at Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church.
For over three decades, Pastor Letson has faithfully answered God’s call, walking beside our members through seasons of joy and sorrow, triumph and trial. He has prayed with us, cried with us, encouraged us, and pointed us to Jesus every step of the way. His ministry has been a living testimony of what it means to serve God’s people with humility, compassion, and unwavering faith.
As Scripture reminds us, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” Pastor Letson’s commitment to caring for the flock has blessed generations of families and strengthened the spiritual foundation of our church. His gentle spirit, wise counsel, and shepherd’s heart have left footprints of faith that will continue to guide Shiloh for years to come.
While we will miss his daily presence, we rejoice in knowing that God is not finished blessing him. As he enters this new season, we pray that the Lord will grant him strength, peace, good health, and abundant joy as he enjoys the fruits of his faithful labor.
Pastor Letson, thank you for 31 years of loving God’s people and serving His Kingdom. Your labor has not been in vain, and your Shiloh family will forever be grateful.
May the Lord richly bless you and keep you.
